Alice (played by Milla Jovovich) returns to Tokyo to take revenge on the Umbrella Corporation, which has been hiding at the bottom of the Earth, where Wesker (played by Shawn Roberts) enforces his self-righteous safety technology standards. Alice breaks into the forbidden zone and strikes directly at the root of the problem. In a desperate move, Wesker is willing to destroy the city to make a last stand. Ultimately, as he tries to escape in a helicopter, he finds himself coerced by Alice, and in a panic, he injects her with a virus that renders her immune to T-cells, stripping her of her superpowers, forcing her to fly to the desolate landscape of Alaska. The Earth has shown no signs of life for 177 days. However, Alice unexpectedly discovers Claire (played by Ali Larter). Following the Arcadia signal, they return to the hellish city, which is shockingly filled with zombies. They are met by other survivors who also heard the signal. With the help of the mysterious convict Chris (played by Wentworth Miller), they set off towards the Arcadia ship...
