In the film, Loke plays Andre Allen, who became famous for his comedic stand-up and made his way into Hollywood by starring in silly and light-hearted films (dressing up as a brown bear). He is about to marry a reality show star, who wishes to broadcast their wedding live on her reality show. However, his manager tells him that this could harm his image and career, lowering his market value. At the same time, an interview with a New York Times reporter (played by Rosario Dawson) poses sharp questions like 'Why aren’t you funny anymore?' which forces him to re-examine his past, his life, and his career. Amid their daily interactions, it seems that they also develop different feelings for each other.
