A rare meteor shower is about to appear in the skies over Russia, and young men and women are incredibly excited, flocking to the streets to witness this historic moment. The beautiful girl Yulia (played by Irina Starshenbaum) is determined to date Tem (played by Alexander Petrov), despite her military father's objections. On the day of the meteor shower, they sneak away to celebrate but are unaware that a tremendous crisis is approaching. An alien spaceship encounters an accident and is subsequently shot down by the Russian Air Force. As it crash-lands, it causes devastating damage to Moscow, and Yulia's best friend loses her life in the disaster. After that, Yulia and her friends break into a restricted area and encounter aliens. By an unfortunate turn of events, she decides to rescue the severely injured alien pilot Hank (played by Rinal Mukhametov), while Tem and others harbor a deep hatred for the disaster brought by the aliens.
