Ali (played by Louis Koo) is sharp and capable, making a living by running a funeral home. His colleague and makeup artist Ah Hong (played by Yuen Kwei-Ying) is both his work partner and his beloved, but due to being busy with work, he has no time to accompany her, leading to his friend Daviv (played by Joe Ma) stealing her away. Daviv, being a flirtatious person by nature, ultimately abandons Ah Hong after stirring her feelings, causing her to embark on a path of no return... Another young makeup artist (played by Ding Zi-Jun) is infatuated with the pop star Chen Mei Li. One night, after getting drunk, he encounters his idol and excitedly takes a precious photo. The next morning, he hears the news of his idol's death... The other three staff members of the funeral home (played by Leung Yu Yeung, Ng Chi-Hung, and others) are obsessed with money, scamming the daughter (played by Wu Yong Wei) of a deceased old lady (played by Lo Lan) and performing random rituals, ultimately becoming entangled with the old lady's spirit and unable to escape...
