However, shortly after the money went missing, John Fleming died under strange circumstances, and a series of odd events began to occur in this cursed little house... The film stars Agnes Moorehead, who was previously noted for her role in 'Citizen Kane'. The male lead is Vincent Price, who appeared in several classic horror films during the 1940s and 1950s. The director, Crane Wilbur, was born in Athens, New York. He began performing on stage in 1904 and entered the film industry in 1910, later co-starring in the series 'Pearl in Trouble' with famous actress Pearl White, earning him the title of 'screen heartthrob'.
