The story tells of how Chen Qi and Qin Yu met and fell in love due to a misunderstanding. Qin Yu strongly dislikes Chen Qi because of a misunderstanding. However, due to work requirements, Qin Yu has to collaborate with Chen Qi. During their collaboration, Qin Yu gradually realizes that she has misjudged Chen Qi, and their relationship slowly makes progress. Both Chen Qi and Qin Yu have feelings for each other, but a past relationship makes Chen Qi afraid to pursue love. Qin Yu expresses her feelings to Chen Qi, but he responds to her with silence. Qin Yu feels very disappointed by Chen Qi's silence, thinking it means rejection. Just as their relationship seems to be ending, Chen Qi finally awakens, overcomes his past, and bravely confesses his feelings to Qin Yu.
