The film tells the story of San Miao (played by Jiang Qilin) and his three childhood friends who, in the eyes of others, are unemployed young adults who have accomplished nothing by the time they reach the age of thirty. They are struggling to run a nearly bankrupt dance hall. However, due to poor management resulting in a lack of funds, the dance hall is becoming increasingly difficult to maintain. Therefore, the four of them fly to Thailand to realize their dream of starting an entertainment company. They hope to gain fame and win a huge cash prize by participating in an unconventional beauty contest for handsome men before returning home to restart their lives. Unexpectedly, they face various challenges along the way due to being set up by others, showcasing a story of making life choices between reality and dreams, as well as love and materialism.
