Indian Ghost

Stock analyst Vishal (played by Ajay Devgn) and his wife Swati (played by Urmila Matondkar) are looking for an apartment in Mumbai. Vishal finds an ideal place on the 12th floor of a high-rise building. However, this apartment has a horrific past. The previous resident was a young woman who killed her child and jumped off the balcony to her death. Soon after moving in, Swati learns about this and develops a strange obsession with the story. Subsequently, a series of inexplicable experiences drive Swati nearly to madness. Vishal feels helpless and is convinced that his wife suffers from some kind of mental illness. He consults psychiatrist Dr. Rajan (played by Victor Banerjee). The couple's maid (played by Seema Biswas) believes that Swati is possessed and brings in an exorcist (played by Rekha). Meanwhile, other seemingly unrelated events unfold around the building. A guard (played by Sabir Mascarenhas) is being intimidated, one resident, Sanjay (played by Fardeen Khan), is behaving oddly, and a murder occurs. Detective Liaqat Qureshi (played by Nana Patekar) is assigned to investigate the murder in the building. During this time, both the psychiatrist and the exorcist struggle to make progress with Swati.
