Star Trek IX: Insurrection

Captain Picard learned that Lieutenant Data had been taken hostage on the planet Baku, and immediately took the USS Enterprise to rescue him. When they arrived on Baku, they found that only six hundred Bakuans lived on the planet, isolated from the world, rejecting technology, advocating peace, and leading a simple life; the abduction of Data was not in line with Bakuan behavior, suggesting there was more to the story. Captain Picard met a Baku woman named Anja, from whom he learned that although the Bakuans appeared young, the original inhabitants of the planet were actually over three hundred years old. Faced with the aging Sons, they discovered that the Bakuans' secret to immortality lay in the special radiation that continuously reshaped their genetic structure on the outskirts of Baku. Now, the Bakuans faced the threat of extinction... The Sona, from outer space, connected with the interstellar alliance and created an identical environment based on the original Baku village, intending to relocate the Bakuans to this virtual village to monopolize the fountain of youth. The leader of the Sona, Ru'afo, used the pretense of a cultural investigation to lead his followers into Baku, trying to drive the Bakuans away and take over the planet. Captain Picard reported the information to Commander Duldir, only to find that the commander and the Starfleet Headquarters were already aware of it and were secretly involved in the conspiracy. Duldir ignored Picard's protests and ordered the Enterprise to return immediately, forbidding interference. Captain Picard faced a critical moment; if he obeyed the order, he would violate the vow he made when joining Starfleet, but if he took action, he would have to give up his career, his crew, the Enterprise, everything! He would have to engage in this battle for paradise.
