 Synopsis
The story takes place in 1979, in an ordinary small town in Ohio, USA. Young Joe Lamb (played by Joel Courtney) suffers the tragic loss of his mother, which leaves him in deep silence for a long time. Months later, at the invitation of his good friend Charles (played by Riley Griffiths), he decides to gather a few friends to shoot a horror movie with a Super 8 camera (8 mm). Of course, what motivates him the most is that the beautiful girl he admires, Alice (played by Elle Fanning), is also involved. One night, Alice drives her father's car, bringing her friends to the train station to shoot a scene, but they unexpectedly witness a horrific train accident.
