 Synopsis
As evil forces spread unchecked, a group of exceptionally powerful champions of justice stepped forward, donning masks and unusual costumes to confront various villains. Soon, their heroic deeds spread nationwide through the media, and the names of superheroes like Dollar Bill, Silk Spectre, Rorschach, and Captain Metropolis became widely known. They also took part in significant events, each facing different fates due to their individual personalities. However, in the 1970s, government decrees forced some heroes who were unwilling to become the pawns of the powerful into retirement, leading to a split among the superhero community. One day in 1985, the government-affiliated superhero 'The Comedian,' Edward Blake (played by Jeffrey Dean Morgan), was murdered. The fugitive Rorschach, Walter Kovacs (played by Jackie Earle Haley), realizes that someone is hunting down former superheroes, and a larger conspiracy is lurking behind it all...
