 Synopsis
In the last philosophy class before graduation, 20 students were forced to participate in a thought experiment. They jumped from the classroom into the site of a nuclear disaster, and if they couldn't secure a spot in the bomb shelter, their organs would be instantly penetrated by radioactive dust, resulting in a painful death. However, the oxygen and food in the bomb shelter were only enough for 10 people to survive for a year. The philosophy students drew lots to determine their identities and skills. To continue the human race, they had to use philosophical logic, publicly consult, and vote to select 10 of the most valuable individuals to live in the bomb shelter. Is a smart person more qualified to stay than a good person? Is the value of an engineer more important than that of a poet? One vote means the continuation of a life; who must be sacrificed to benefit society?
