A rare and devastating storm, unprecedented in thirty years, washed away a village土桥 that connected urban and rural areas, leading to a disruption in transportation between the two. Farmer Li Guangming (played by Gong Hanlin) had his tractor overturned, injuring five men, and he suddenly became impoverished, owing 180,000 yuan. He fled the village and went to the city for work, only to find himself inexplicably caught up in a 'kidnapping' incident. He rescued Tian Dafang (also played by Gong Hanlin), the chairman of Jinsui Group, who comes from a farming background. For safety reasons, Tian Dafang hires Li Guangming, who looks exactly like him, as a double to attend various social events in his place. This leads to a series of hilarious yet touching events. Tian Dafang continually encounters troubles, but his double Li Guangming inadvertently resolves them one by one, leading to huge laughs.
