Synopsis

The passionate and justice-driven Xia Lingzheng (played by Yuan Biao) once witnessed the brutal murder of his mentor in broad daylight, an event that instilled in him a relentless belief in upholding justice and punishing evil. One day, as a prosecutor, Xia Lingzheng accused two notorious criminals of smuggling drugs and committing murder for profit. However, at a crucial moment during the trial, the star witness Liang Ersheng and his entire family of eight were brutally murdered. The suspects managed to escape justice through such despicable means, which infuriated Xia Lingzheng. Following this, he took a dangerous risk and crossed the line of a prosecutor, stealthily entering a room at night to kill one of the suspects, Lao Wei (played by Zhang Chong), by extrajudicial means. When he set his sights on the next target, Lao Zhou (played by Tian Jun), he discovered that the person had already been murdered. The dark forces within the police gradually surface, while the lone wolf Xia Lingzheng races down the path of justice...
