The film is adapted from the best-selling children's book "Clifford the Big Red Dog" and tells the story of a little girl named Emily Elizabeth (played by Darby Camp) who, in New York, receives a small dog. This red dog named Clifford is well-behaved and cute, becoming a good friend to her as she feels out of place and lonely at school. However, the dog gradually grows into a giant, attracting the attention of a biotech company, and Emily and her uncle Casey (played by Jack Whitehall) must escape from the pursuit of greedy individuals.
