The Jingqiao family living in the suburbs follows a strange agreement that every family member must have no secrets in front of their relatives. Their lives seem harmonious and happy, yet each of them harbors undisclosed secrets. The eldest daughter, Mana (played by An Suzuki), has been wandering around the shopping mall and is increasingly troubled upon learning that she was born in a love hotel; the father, Yoshifumi, and his wife, Eriko (played by Kyoko Koizumi), have been living a sexless life for five years, and he secretly seeks solace outside while maintaining a façade of happiness; the truant son finds a tutor, who ultimately becomes the father’s lover; Eriko, who established the 'no secrets' rule, meticulously manages household chores and prepares meals, appearing as a happy housewife, yet she too harbors a long-hidden secret.
