In Northeast China, there is a mysterious legend about the "Imperial Hunters" who have survived in the deep mountains for generations, guarding the flow of energy in the Longxing land of the Xingan Mountains for the emperors. It is said that these hunters are not only skilled in the art of hunting but also knowledgeable in the techniques of exorcism and divine communication. In a remote mountain village in Northeast China, a tragic massacre occurs quietly. At the villagers' request, the last generation of Imperial Hunter, Liu Erye (played by Shang Tielong), decides to come out of retirement to investigate the truth. However, during the process, strange events repeatedly occur, and the secrets of the old forest are gradually revealed...
