The supernatural thriller "Hemlock Grove" may not be Netflix's most popular original series, but its viewership is clearly strong enough for it to return for a second season in July. All 10 episodes of the second season, produced by executive producer Eli Roth, will premiere at 12:01 AM Pacific Time on July 11, Friday, and will be available to watch in all countries where Netflix operates. The series is based on the novel of the same name by Brian McGreevy and produced by Gaumont International Television. "Hemlock Grove" tells the story of a series of bizarre events in a small town in Pennsylvania, featuring a cast that includes Famke Janssen, Bill Skarsgård, Landon Liboiron, and Dougray Scott. At the start of the second season, the residents of Hemlock Grove will begin to confront the horrifying massacre caused by one of the town's deadliest monsters. Roth stated, "Netflix is a great partner; whenever we want to take the story in a dangerous direction, they encourage us to push further, taking a scarier, darker, and sexier path. We can guarantee that you won’t see a show like this anywhere else on television."
