After Dennis Carvello's father passed away, he discovered his grandfather Black Ronim's diary among his belongings. The diary recorded how his grandfather found a treasure during World War II and became Europe's richest man, with the clues to the treasure located in his grandfather's riding boots displayed in the local museum. He embarked on a treasure hunt with his nephew Cornel, Cornel's two friends Max and Cyprian, and the children's nanny who joined them midway. At the same time, two thieves who learned about the treasure also set off in pursuit. Following the clues left in the diary, they pinpointed the old house in their hometown of Puwtusk, but after many twists and turns, they discovered the boots were with another nephew of Dennis, Roqi, who was on tour. The two thieves got wind of this and managed to acquire the boots first, but unfortunately, the clues inside were accidentally burned. Just when everyone was in despair, Max found a lead, igniting their treasure-hunting spirit once more. They finally located the big tree mentioned in the treasure map. Everyone discovered that the so-called treasure was merely the names of their grandparents carved into the tree trunk. After much contemplation, they understood the true meaning of the treasure left by Grandpa Black Ronim for the family: the love forged through the trials of war and a happy family are the most valuable riches in the world.
