 Synopsis
Wang Jingwei (played by Huang Zihua) is a avant-garde Hong Kong director from the 1990s, but he holds the Cantonese films of the 1960s in disdain. Unexpectedly, he travels back in time to the 1960s, where he is informed by the renowned director Chu Yuan that he can return to his own time if he can shoot a popular movie in the 1960s. Although Wang Jingwei is very reluctant, he meets the not-yet-famous duo Li Qi (played by Luo Jiaying) and Xie Yuan (played by Wu Zhenyu). Due to Wang Jingwei's special status, he leads the two to fame. However, both of their girlfriends, Baozhu (played by Zhang Ke Yi) and Fangfang (played by Shu Qi), fall in love with Wang Jingwei, greatly admiring his talent.
