Family Reunion Mandarin

Yan Nanguo (played by Xu Guanyuan) has been separated from his sister A Ping (played by Zheng Yawen), who married and moved to Hong Kong, for many years. Although A Ping often sends money and goods, Yan Nanguo mostly uses it to help the villagers, while he spends his days joyfully working in the woods. One day, Yan Nanguo finally decides to go to Hong Kong to visit his sister and her reportedly wealthy husband, Huang Jiafan (played by Huang Baoming). However, upon his arrival, he discovers the reality is quite different. A Ping's family of four is living in a small two-bedroom apartment with Huang's unmarried flight attendant younger sister, Huang Jialing (played by Wang Zuxian), and Huang Jiafan is only able to support the family with his job as a shoe store clerk. Meanwhile, the Huang family finds Yan Nanguo's carefree rural demeanor very uncomfortable, leading to various conflicts under the same roof. Yan Nanguo is introduced by Huang Jiafan to work at the shoe store, but he is dismissed by the boss after just one day; soon after, he also messes up Jialing's relationship with a wealthy young man. Feeling dejected, Yan Nanguo participates in a prize program and unexpectedly wins the chance to go abroad, but unfortunately, he encounters an accident during the trip...
