The Boys' Adventure Book

The family comedy "The Dangerous Book for Boys," produced by Bryan Cranston and Greg Mottola, was previously booked by Amazon and is now set to premiere in the U.S. on March 30. The show is based on the novel of the same name by Conn Iggulden and Hal Iggulden, which was originally developed by NBC during the 2014-2015 development season but failed; it has now been re-produced and picked up by Amazon. After the inventor father Patrick passes away, Wyatt and his brothers receive a book their father left for them - "The Dangerous Book for Boys," which inspires Wyatt to create a whimsical fantasy world and feel a connection with his father, while learning skills to cope with real life. Chris Diamantopoulos will play two roles; in addition to the father Patrick, he also plays the twin brother Terry, who is a fun-loving, rule-averse, good-hearted underachiever who comes to live with the protagonist after the brother's death. His colorful past and good nature improve the family dynamic. Erinn Hayes plays the mother of Liam (played by Kyan Zielinski), Dash (played by Drew Logan Powell), and Wyatt (played by Gabriel Bateman), who struggles to maintain a normal family life under one roof with her three sons, Terry, and her mother-in-law Tiffany (played by Swoosie Kurtz).
