This drama is adapted from Jiang Cao's manga of the same name. It tells the story of a man who loves a woman known as the "witch." Park Jin-young plays the male lead, Lee Dong-jin, who majored in statistics and became a top-tier data analyst after graduating from university. He often saw the female lead appearing alone in front of him, silently supporting her from behind. Years later, they reunite in the subway after a long separation, and he is willing to abandon everything for her life. Lu Jung-yi plays Park Mi-jung, a woman who leaves her rooftop home at 3:30 AM in beautiful clothes to enjoy her freedom. She is called the "witch" and has excelled in English since childhood, later becoming a translator. Even when she quietly stays in, she stands out and has become accustomed to solitude while being trapped in her rooftop room. "The Witch" is directed by Kim Tae-kyun, who previously worked on "The Dirty Howl Murders," and is set to begin filming soon.
