This is a crime investigation thriller that tells the story of a narcotics officer who is forced to deal with drug involvement, as he tracks down the death of a high school classmate who left behind 5 billion in insurance money. Chi-seong plays the calm and meticulous detective Jang Jae-gyeong, who is the beneficiary of the insurance after his high school classmate chooses to die. He is highly respected at the police station, maintains distance from friendships, work, and family, and holds steadfast to his principles. Jeon Mi-do plays Woo Yoon-jin, the impoverished economic manager of a struggling local news company who returns to her hometown after being wrongfully dismissed. As her husband and children have immigrated abroad, she is left alone to send living expenses. Upon hearing the news of her high school classmate's death and the remaining insurance money, her true friendship is revealed. Strong-willed and determined, she resolves to become a sensational journalist.
