In the 1930s in Northeast China, at a luxurious hotel named "Peace Hotel," a group of mysterious guests was locked inside, engaging in a life-and-death gamble that lasted ten days and 240 hours, which also influenced the global power structure at the time. Wang Dadeng, the second-in-command of the bandits in the Black Blind Ridge in Aodong City, unexpectedly entered the Peace Hotel while tracking a batch of opium paste that was about to hit the black market, and met Chen Jiaying, a behavior trace analysis expert specially hired by the Southern Railway's intelligence department. At that moment, Sheriff Dou Shixiao, in order to trace an important evidence film, infiltrated the literary and editing department of the Peace Hotel and ordered the entire hotel to be sealed off. As a covert Communist, Chen Jiaying needed to smuggle out the film containing evidence of Japan's bacteriological weapon experiments in Northeast China, and to breach the siege of the Japanese garrison, she had no choice but to pretend to be a couple with Wang Dadeng, whom she had just met, to evade investigation by the Japanese and puppet enemies. Meanwhile, as a microcosm of the world political landscape, every guest at the Peace Hotel was not ordinary; representatives from Japan, Germany, the United States, France, the Soviet Union, and various military factions would collaborate and fight within the Peace Hotel.
