Jia Ding, a photography enthusiast passionate about the Gelao culture, arrived at the source of the Gelao people - Wuchuan County, where he engaged in photography and creation. During this process, he met the beautiful Gelao tour guide Meng Qin. Due to their shared love for Gelao culture, Jia Ding and Meng Qin felt an immediate connection. Under the Nine Heavenly Mother Stone, Meng Qin told Jia Ding an ancient legend about the Danning Heart. The legend states that the ancestors of the Gelao people, the Pu people, were the first in the world to master the technique of refining cinnabar. After Qin Shi Huang unified the six states, he sent the physician Qin Tian to the southwestern border's Pu people's Maiyang tribe in search of the mysterious Danning Heart for eternal life. However, the treacherous official Zhao Gao plotted to assist Hu Hai in usurping the throne by ordering the descendants of the six states to seize the cinnabar, aiming to destroy both Qin Tian and the Danning Heart in one fell swoop. The cold and stern Qin Tian formed a close friendship with the brave youth Bai Yan and the beautiful girl Hong Sha from the Maiyang tribe during his quest for cinnabar. The warm atmosphere of the Maiyang tribe deeply affected Qin Tian, making him feel like a member of the tribe from the depths of his heart. To protect the tribe from imminent disaster, Bai Yan sacrificed himself at the last moment to save his people. Qin Tian also gave up his life for this cause. Hong Sha carried Bai Yan's legacy, preserving the bloodline of the guardians of the Danning Heart and continuing to safeguard the inheritance of Gelao culture.
