The female director Lin Xinya (played by Liu Yanxi) has just completed her latest horror film, but she is immersed in a profound atmosphere of fear and guilt. It turns out that during the early filming process, the actress Xia Meng (played by Zhang Qiyan), who is also Xinya's brother Xiao Yi's (played by Luo Xiang) girlfriend, performed a dangerous stunt at the director's request, resulting in her accidental death. Xinya becomes paranoid, constantly feeling the presence of Xia Meng around her.
