"The Restaurant of Misery" is adapted from the online novel of the same name by writer Jeon Sun-young. It tells the story of a character from the Joseon era, Heo Joon (played by Kim Min-seok), who enters modern times 400 years later and inadvertently opens a restaurant, leading to a chaotic, fantastical romantic comedy drama.
