The Decepticon's scout team, Swindle and Scorponok, attacked the U.S. military base in Qatar. Meanwhile, Barricade helped his partner, Frenzy, sneak onto Air Force One, the president's plane, where they found out that in order to locate Megatron, they must find the glasses belonging to the Witwicky family. These glasses contain scans of information about the AllSpark from Megatron, and its current owner, Sam Witwicky (played by Shia LaBeouf), has become a target of the Decepticons' attack. Sam is a high school student, and no one at school believes his stories about the history of the glasses. In his disappointment, Sam puts the glasses up for auction online, but they draw no interest from buyers. At this time, his father gifts him a junk car, which happens to be the Autobot Bumblebee in disguise. Bumblebee helps Sam score a beautiful girlfriend (played by Megan Fox), but they soon encounter the Decepticons' attack. Optimus Prime arrives with the other Autobots, and a robot battle begins.
