In the twelfth year of Emperor Zhao of the Great Zhao Dynasty, the Demon Cult wreaked havoc, disturbing the lives of the people, compounded by natural disasters, causing immense suffering among the populace. Emperor Zhao Xu ordered the leader of the Demon Suppression Division, Zhang Qian, to eradicate the Demon Cult. The National Master, Mo Fan, informed Zhang Qian that the headquarters of the Demon Cult was located in Jizhou. However, Zhang Qian commanded his favorite general, Xiao Zhen, to secretly carry out the eradication mission in Youzhou, while he pretended to head to Jizhou. Thus, the four great masters of the Demon Suppression Division—Xiao Zhen, Hua Wuchang, Ning Wumou, and Guan Chuang—set off for Youzhou, and a storm of blood and carnage was about to unfold.
