In 1978, Joe, nicknamed 'Scorpion' (played by James Landry Hébert), and his accomplice Lenny (played by Michael Villar) had just robbed a bank, and on the way, they also took an innocent woman, Vivian Fontaine (played by Ashley Bell), hostage. They sped down the highway while the police were hot on their trail. During the chase, Lenny was shot; although he managed to evade the police, he ultimately died. Joe and Vivian worked together to dispose of Lenny's body, and then continued their flight. However, they accidentally drove onto private property, where their car first had its tires shot out, and then Joe was also shot. Next, a man with a sniper rifle, White Moss (played by Pat Healy), appeared with a smile in front of the terrified Vivian. Although Vivian seemed to have escaped the Scorpion's control, she inadvertently stepped into the territory of a group of murderous maniacs...
