"The Bitter Stems" is a quintessential work of American noir cinema. They set up a fake journalism school and soon their pockets are filled with dirty money. When the journalist begins to suspect his partner, the plot becomes gripping. A perfect film, a brilliant story. This movie looks just like any American film from that time.
