The blue-eyed female ninja, Seito (played by Sato Sayori), is highly skilled but never trusts anyone. One day, she catches her employer Lord Rokukyou's subordinate, Inusawa, stealing treasures from the treasury: a legendary secret scroll rumored to grant immortality. During a fierce battle, Seito is injured and escapes, only to be falsely accused of theft by Inusawa and targeted by Lord Rokukyou's soldiers. In a desperate moment, the Catholic priest, Seitaro, saves her. As they spend time together, they gradually fall in love, and Seito lowers her guard. However, good times don't last long, as the local daimyo is incited by Inusawa to slander Catholicism as a 'western heresy' and hunt down the believers. To protect her loved one, Seito decides to fight to the death!
