Princess Sofia of the Magic Kingdom has always regarded the necklace she wears as her talisman. One day, she suddenly learns that this talisman actually seals a princess who is waiting to be freed. The evil witch Shriech has invaded the Kingdom of Avalor, killing the king and queen. To protect the young Princess Elena, the wizards of Avalor sealed her within the talisman. After many twists and turns, this talisman ended up in Sofia's hands. To rescue Elena and the people of Avalor, the small and brave Princess Sofia embarks on an adventurous journey.
