James McSden and Ed Asner ("Flying House" and "Christmas Elf") joined Netflix's new drama "Dead to Me", and Linda Cardini and Christina Albergate ("Friends" and "Bad Mom") participated.Liz Feldman (The Broken Sisters and Happy Family) wrote the script, and Will Ferrell and Adam McKay's production company jointly produced by CBS TV.The drama has 10 episodes in total, described as a comedy version of "Big Lies", focusing on a powerful friendship between widow Jane (Ebergate) and the unrestrained and stunningly secret Judy (Cadrini).McSden plays Judy's admiration partner, and he looks confident and logical, but in fact he is a fragile man with a complex past, attracted by Judy's broad mind and free spirit.Asner plays Abe, who lives in a life institution where Judy works, is smarter and quicker than most people, has a sweet relationship with Judy, and often relies on each other to survive the twists and turns of life.
