A robotics company teams up with a corrupt CIA agent to position themselves for a lucrative military contract. They illegally air-drop four robot prototypes into the infamous Golden Triangle between Laos, Cambodia, and Thailand for on-site testing against unsuspecting drug lords, which the world will never forget. One of the robots is damaged during the drop, and the robotics team loses control of it as it gains self-awareness, turning into an unstoppable killing machine.
