Nickelodeon officially announced information about the first spin-off series of the character SpongeBob: this prequel animated series is officially titled "Kamp Koral: SpongeBob's Under Years" and will premiere in the 2020-21 broadcast season. Previous reports indicated that the series will consist of 13 episodes, featuring a 10-year-old SpongeBob and telling the story of his experience at the sleepaway summer camp "Camp Coral." Unlike the traditional 2D animation style of the series, this will be CGI animation.
