Synopsis

Kawashiro Yoshiki (played by Katsunori Takahashi), who works at a newspaper company, becomes suspicious of the sudden death of four young people who died on the same day at the same time. One of them was his niece, prompting him to launch an investigation. He discovers that the four of them had lived together in Hakone a week before their deaths and had watched a video there. He later finds this footage, which shows a message after a series of disturbing images, stating: 'Anyone who watches this video is doomed to die at this time a week later. If you don’t want to die, do as I say…' Together with university professor Takayama Ryuuji (played by Yoshio Harada), they firmly believe that the videotape holds a supernatural power born from intense hatred and suffering. Despite their fear of the 'time limit on death,' they strive to uncover the truth behind this video — which is tied to a cruel and bizarre story about a mother from more than 30 years ago. These terrifying grudges are interlinked like rings and appear in unexpected ways...
