The energetic pop diva J (played by Joey Yung) rushes through various types of work every day, leading a busy life that leaves her breathless. When she takes off her glamorous stage outfit and wipes off her makeup, her body and mind feel exhausted and blank. Yet filled with ambition for her career, she hopes to expand her domestic market and reach new heights. After meeting blind masseur Hu Ming (played by Hu Ge), she reignites her passion for life and begins to grow weary of her hectic work. Her manager Man (played by Chin Kwok-choi) strongly opposes this, wanting to preserve J's diva status. Newcomer R (played by Lin Xin Tong) skyrockets to fame overnight, becoming a rising star in the music industry and seen as a threat to J. She yearns for the lavish yet complicated life of the entertainment industry, feeling both desire and fear, but her relationship with her ordinary and low-paid boyfriend K (played by Chan Ka-Lok) is increasingly strained and hard to maintain. Man, the manager who influences their fates, uses various despicable means to transform J and R from unknown ordinary girls who love to sing into a music diva and a talented newcomer.
