The Queen Consort of Jinlun (played by Ye Yiqing) has an affair with her cousin Ouyang Feng (played by Tony Leung) in a bid to seize the throne. They poison the king but fail to find the imperial seal. Upon learning that the seal is in the possession of the Third Princess (played by Lin Qingxia), who is seeking help from her master at Jiugong Mountain, Ouyang Feng attempts to take it but fails. The confused national master (played by Zhang Manyu), under pressure, discovers the exact whereabouts of the Third Princess. Ouyang Feng, wearing fire rocket golden boots, pursues her but accidentally hits the badly wounded Wang Chongyang (played by Zhong Zhentao), who has just emerged from a pass.
