 Synopsis
The horror novelist Xiao Ai (played by Mei Ting) is worried that her ex-husband Qi Kun (played by Wu Chao), who has just been released from prison, will take away her beloved son. To escape, she takes her five-year-old son Xiao Xin to her friend Yi Nan's (played by Guo Jingfei) country villa, where she hopes to finish writing her new novel in peace.Accompanying his mother in her writing, Xiao Xin finds it dull and picks up a paintbrush, spending all day drawing. Soon, strange events begin to unfold in the ancient villa. Xiao Xin insists that he has met a little girl who lives in the villa, which astonishes Xiao Ai because there is no one around for several kilometers. Meanwhile, as Xiao Ai struggles with writer’s block and unable to write a single word, large passages of text mysteriously appear on her computer, eerily similar to the little girl that Xiao Xin knows. Ultimately, Xiao Xin's bizarre disappearance drives Xiao Ai to the brink of panic and collapse...
