Actress Yuki Takahashi (30) will star in the TBS drama "I'm Going Home on Time," which will air every Tuesday at 10 PM starting in April. This will be her first challenge as an office lady (OL) and her first lead role in a TBS series. The drama is adapted from the novel of the same name by Yukiko Shuu, and Takahashi plays Yui Higashiyama, a 32-year-old single web director working at a web production company. She grew up watching her workaholic father who never came home, and after graduating, she ended up in a run-down company. Burdened by her past due to work-related incidents, she is a career woman who firmly believes in "always going home on time." The drama addresses many companies' "overtime issues" and re-examines personal interests such as views on marriage, corrupt businesses, and the loneliness of dying alone. Additionally, the cast includes Osamu Mukai (36) as Yui's ex-fiancé, Yuki Uchida (43) as a senior colleague who returns to work immediately after having a baby, and Yusuke Nakayama (47) as a corrupt boss. Filming will begin in early February.
