The Earth is under attack by Kulkus, a hostile alien race that is infected with a deadly virus and needs human blood to develop an antidote. Governments around the world negotiate with humanoid ambassadors to reach a peace agreement, offering eight million humans (shared among the countries) to the aliens in exchange for saving our planet. The daughter of scientist Stephen Chase, Heather Chase, is chosen, and her father fights to save her by joining the resistance. He proposes to the leaders of the resistance, Blair and Alex, to exchange his research findings for some alien materials discovered in 1947 in return for his daughter's freedom.
