Cecilia (played by Elisabeth Moss) could never have imagined that the handsome man Adrian (played by Oliver Jackson-Cohen), who once captivated her so deeply, would become the architect of her nightmares. Soon after they began their relationship, Adrian started to exert both mental and physical control over Cecilia. Finally, unable to endure it any longer, Cecilia used a sedative to incapacitate Adrian one night and successfully escaped from his lair.
