Big Treasure (played by Leung Ka-Yan) and his younger brother Second Treasure (played by Yuen Biao) are all alone in the world, relying on each other and having a very deep bond. They spend their days idly, engaging in gambling, hoping to gain illegal wealth, but they always end up losing their meager family savings completely. After being bullied repeatedly, Big Treasure and Second Treasure develop the desire to learn martial arts. They find a master (played by Lau Ka-Lung) by chance in a restaurant and begin their arduous and sweat-filled journey of martial arts training. One day, they unexpectedly learn that their master is actually a notorious thief in disguise. When the master finds out that they know his secret, he attempts to kill them to silence them. Second Treasure manages to escape, but Big Treasure is brutally killed by the master. Filled with grief and anger, Second Treasure wants to avenge his brother. By coincidence, he encounters a beggar (played by Sammo Hung) whom he has met before, only to discover that this beggar is actually a famous detective in the martial arts world. Under his guidance, Second Treasure's martial arts skills improve dramatically, and he eventually kills his enemy to seek revenge.
