Hazari is a greedy old man who, in order to gain wealth without working, disguises himself as a wealthy person to get close to billionaire Mr. Mehra. Hazari hopes Mr. Mehra will marry his daughter Madoo (Madhuri Dixit) to his son Aaga (Aamir Khan), but both Madoo and Aaga have strong personalities, and they not only dislike each other but also become a pair of sworn enemies who argue whenever they meet. After going through many ups and downs, Aaga and Madoo finally fall in love with each other.
