Lonely little boy Oliver (played by Archie Robertson) feels different from everyone else. He really wants to make friends, so he spends a lot of time on his phone and tablet. When a mysterious creature wants to enter our world through Oliver's phone and tablet, Oliver's parents (Gillian Jacobs and John Gallagher Jr.) must step up to rescue their son from the clutches of the mysterious creature.
