After defeating the villain Ma Jiao Wen, King (played by Andy Lau) and Hua Gu Long (played by Nick Cheung) teamed up with Hua Gu Long's cousin Ah Lei (played by Chan Bak Cheung) to con a amount of money from the evil Big Eye Wen. Just as they were planning to enjoy their spoils, Big Eye Wen captured Hua Gu Long. King and Ah Lei were then taken by the police to meet with high-ranking officials from the Chinese side, where they were assigned to Las Vegas to catch the big con artist Peter Zhu (played by Ng Man-tat). To obtain a large sum of money to rescue Hua Gu Long, King accepted the mission and headed to Las Vegas.
