The Baiyinghui Group aims to reform the working methods of hospital staff, and established a special emergency physician team called "Night Doctors" for Asahi Seaside Hospital that operates during the night. Dr. Asakura Mizuki (played by Nanba Ru) chooses to work as a night doctor at this new location. On the first day of her night shift, at the work station, there are five doctors including Mizuki, Shimizu Shin (played by An Yuta), Naruse Akihito (played by Tanaka Kei), Sakuraba Shun (played by Kitamura Takumi), and Takaoka Yukihiro (played by Okazaki Sae). The story narrates the struggles of the night emergency doctors, led by Mizuki, as they deal with personal life troubles while fighting to save lives. It's a completely original 'youth ensemble medical drama.' In the hospital at night, the young physicians face one precious life after another. In the morning light, they remove their titles as doctors and confront their families, lovers, and personal worries. The five night doctors, who differ in age, personality, and values, forge deeper bonds as they endure the long night together. They become a glimmer of hope in the gradually collapsing emergency medical system.
