Babuli (played by Ranbir Kapoor) is a street thug who works as a mechanic in an orphanage in Delhi. He is charming and has a fulfilling life. He also steals cars to support his orphanage. He lacks a sense of right and wrong until he accidentally harms his lifelong love Tara (played by Parineeti Chopra) and is pursued by police couple Chubul Jotara (played by Rishi Kapoor) and Bulbul Jotara (played by Neetu Kapoor). Babuli realizes that there is no right way to do wrong. He is determined to make amends for all his mistakes in life and continues to feel ashamed of them.
